Xiaomi is conducting yet another sale for the Redmi 4 today. The phone will go on sale at 12:00PM today via Amazon India. However, the phone is already available on Xiaomi’s official website mi.com. You can choose between Black and Gold color variants.
Among its current portfolio, the Redmi Note 4 is the fastest-selling smartphone, followed by the Redmi 4, according to Counterpoint report. In today’s sale, all the three variants of the Redmi 4 smartphone will be put up on sale. The three variants being – 16GB storage with 2GB RAM priced at Rs 6,999, 32GB storage with 3GB RAM priced at Rs 8,999, and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM priced at Rs 10,999.
The smartphone is also available via offline stores, but buyers will have to shell out Rs 500 more. So in essence, the Redmi 4 16GB variant is available for Rs 7,499, while the 32GB variant is available for Rs 9,499. Just like previous sales, Xiaomi is offering free Hungama Music and Hungama Play subscriptions for 12 and three months, respectively. Xiaomi is also offering damage protection plan for the Redmi 4 for a price starting Rs 599.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 features a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 octa-core SoC. On the camera front, the Redmi 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) support. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling.
Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 4,100mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots (hybrid setup), 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. On the software front, the device runs on Android Marshmallow wrapped under MIUI 8 out-of-the-box. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the smartphone.
